Comments

Yesterday we told you of several changes and departures at Blizzard Entertainment. Mike O'Brien, Pat Wyatt, and Jeff Strain announced yesterday that they had left the popular developer to create their own studio called Triforge Games. Today, the trio officially announced their endeavor, and stated that Triforge is currently building a team of designers to create multiplayer games.

"Over the last five years, the Triforge team has had a leading role in the creation of four of the world's best-selling games," said Mike O'Brien. "We are looking forward to working together in a small, highly creative environment to advance gaming to new levels. While we can't discuss details, we feel sure that fans will be incredibly excited when we announce our new project."

The Triforge offices will be located in Seattle.
