Tremblay bids Ubisoft adieu

Head of publisher's renowned Montreal studio says bon voyage after seven years.

Ubisoft today announced that the chief operations officer of its award-winning Montreal studio, Martin Tremblay, has left the company. Tremblay joined the studio in 1999 as executive vice president, but was promoted to COO just a year later. He helped steer the studio through a period of explosive expansion, overseeing the hiring of nearly 1,000 new staffers. The same period also saw the studio develop the Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia series. Though it wished him well in a statement, Ubisoft did not give a reason for Tremblay's departure other than saying it was "to take up new challenges."

Thanks for putting Quebec in the map, cuz as we know, Montreal is part of Quebec before Canada! :D

I think Blazing angels is pretty fun. A little easy, but that's what online is for.

well, it's not very good, and it's not selling well...that's a flop. Tremblay also helped get the Ubisoft game design school off the ground with the help of the Quebec government.

How was Blazing Angels a flop when it only shipped last week?? Just a question, not an argument.

Fair well, hopefully Ubi Soft still comes out with good games, but we know they will though.
