Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark confirmed, merges with Michael Bay's Age of Extinction
War for Cybertron developer High Moon is not developing the next Transformers game.

Activision and Hasbro have officially announced the game we reported on earlier in the week, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark.
An Activision representative announced and shared some details about the game at a Hasbro preview event for the New York Toy Fair. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will merge the universe created by High Moon Studios in the previous Cybertron games with the universe director Michael Bay created in the Transformers movies, according to examiner.com.
As with the Cybertron games, you'll be able to play as both Autobots and Decepticons. One announced new playable character is Grimlock, from Bay's upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction movie.
High Moon will not be developing Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. Instead, developer Edge of Reality, which just released Loadout, will take over.
The game will release on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PC, Wii U and 3DS this year.
IGN has the trailer that was shown at the event.
