Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 gets publisher

Dallas-based Oteeva announces that it will publish Auran's miniature train simulation sequel in North America later this year.

Dallas-based publisher Oteeva has today announced that it will publish Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 in North America in October. The game, which is currently in development at Australia-based Auran Games, is the sequel to the acclaimed miniature train simulator Trainz.

"Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 is the culmination of more than three years of development and incorporates a huge amount of feedback from our enthusiastic fan base," said Greg Lane, Auran's CEO. "This edition really adds a whole new dimension to the user experience with the introduction of controllable drivers and interactive industries. Users can customize their own railroad experience in minutes and spend hours in the roles of engineer, yardmaster, or operation manager as they keep the wheels of industry turning."
