Oteeva Entertainment has today announced that it has shipped Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 to stores in North America. The game, developed by Auran, is the backward-compatible sequel to Trainz, which has been available in North America since February 2002.

In Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004, players get to drive a selection of over 50 faithfully re-created locomotives, including diesels, electrics, and steam engines. The game features a number of passenger and freight routes based on real-world locations and also ships with powerful editing tools for players who are interested in creating their own maps.
