Trailer Debuts For Netflix's Action Movie The Old Guard Starring Charlize Theron

Netflix has been producing plenty of action films the past few months to past the time during the COVID-19 pandemic. And the next action-packed movie coming to the streaming service is The Old Guard.

Arriving on July 10, the movie follows an elite group of mercenaries who are immortal and protect the world from various threats. However, their powers are exposed, and the group must face a threat that wants to duplicate and monetize their abilities. Check out the first trailer below.

The Old Guard stars Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Harry Melling, and Van Veronica Ngo. Theron also serves as producer alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, AJ Dix, Beth Kono, and Marc Evans.

The film is based on the comic of the same name by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. Image Comics published the series back in 2017, which consists of two volumes containing five issues each. The Old Guard: Force Multiplied comic series is just wrapping up. Rucka also wrote the screenplay for the Netflix movie.
