Comments

Digital Jesters has recently released the first information on TrackMania, a PC racing game currently scheduled for release in Europe later this year. The game will incorporate a track editor with more than 300 different construction blocks, and finished course designs will weigh in at just a few kilobytes, making them easy to distribute via e-mail. The circuits themselves will feature loop-the-loops, banked corners, jumps, and ramps, and they can be built using one of three different themes--American desert, countryside, and winter landscape.

Gameplay modes in TrackMania will include rally driving, speed racing, and stunt competitions. The game has been designed to even support online players with slow connections, and it will also feature a single-player challenge mode with 50 individual tests. We'll bring you more information on TrackMania as soon as it becomes available.
