Top Spin gets Lleyton Hewitt

Microsoft Game Studios has today announced that two-time grand slam winner Lleyton Hewitt will be one of three tennis superstars featured on the front cover of Top Spin. The announcement was made today as Hewitt played the in the ceremonial first Top Spin game against fellow Top Spin-featured tennis legend Michael Chang.

"It is truly an honor to be selected by Microsoft Game Studios as a Top Spin cover athlete," Hewitt said. "The key to a great tennis game is allowing fans to feel what it's like to be on the court and play against the world's best. Microsoft has done it with Top Spin."

Top Spin is an Xbox Live-enabled tennis game in which players will be able to compete against opponents from all over the world and climb worldwide ranking ladders. The game will feature no less than 16 real-life pros, most of whom were 2912487announced just yesterday. No release date has been announced for Top Spin at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
