Meanwhile, Goosebumps: Dead of Night creeps out of the shadows, and the Samurai Shodown Neo Geo Collection cuts into the Epic Games Store.

You can probably tell by the screenshot above that Project Warlock is inspired by '90s shooters like Doom and Heretic. The "warlock" in the name is meaningful too--you'll wield magical weapons and spells in addition to typical guns. Expect plenty of monsters to get in your way as you try to collect keys, open doors, and clear every stage.

This collection is seven games in one: Samurai Shodown, II, III, Amakusa's Revenge, V, V Special, and V Perfect. That last game never even saw a full release back in the day, making this the first time you can actually play it. The collection will be free on the Epic Games Store for a week after launch; after that, you'll have to shell out $40 for it on PC and consoles.

This survival horror game should be fun for fans of R.L. Stine's books. You'll have to run from classic monsters like Slappy the Dummy and Murder the Clown as you try to solve puzzles and escape. Fans of the recent movies will be pleased to know that Jack Black's R.L. Stine shows up too.

June has more games to come, and next week's episode of New Releases has some highly anticipated titles. We'll take a look at Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Part 2 and Pokemon Sword & Shield's Isle of Armor expansion. GameSpot's Play For All event will also continue throughout the month, so stay tuned for more gaming announcements, interviews, streams, and more.
