Top 20 Best-Selling PSN Games for January 2016

We're now through the first month of 2016 and Minecraft's momentum continues to carry it to the top of the sales charts.

Sony has released its monthly sales report for the PlayStation Store during the month of January, and Minecraft continues to perform strongly on PS4, PS3, and Vita. It was the top game on both consoles, and number three on Vita behind Persona 4 and Bastion (both of which received nice discounts during the month).

Rocket League came in second place on PS4, beating out the third-place game, Grand Theft Auto V (which continues to be a monster both on PSN and at retail). Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the best-selling game during 2015 (on PSN and across all platforms), was number four on PS4 and number two on PS3.

January didn't see the release of many big new games. The Witness made it to number eight on the charts, while the best-selling new physical game during the month, Lego Marvel Avengers, didn't make the charts at all.
