Top 10 UK Sales Chart: Final Fantasy 15 is Series' Second-Biggest Launch, But Can't Beat FIFA
Final Fantasy XV has a strong opening week.
Final Fantasy XV debuts at No.2 in the UK all-format charts for the week ending December 3. Sales monitor Chart-Track reports it's the series' second-biggest launch ever, after Final Fantasy XIII.
Final Fantasy XV can't quite topple FIFA 17, however, with EA's sporting giant staying at the top of the table for the second week running. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is pushed to No.3, while Battlefield 1 and Forza Horizon 3 round off the top 5.
Ubisoft's snow-sports title Steep struggles in its first week, coming in at No. 24, while a 3DS release of Super Mario Maker helps it into No. 25.
The hugely successful Pokemon Sun and Moon drop to No.9 and No.8 respectively, though the pair are now Nintendo's fastest-selling games ever in both the UK and America.
