Now Playing: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - Future Tense Official Launch Trailer

Crash Bandicoot's N. Sane Trilogy first launched for PS4 over a year ago, but that hasn't stopped it having a stint at the top of the UK physical games chart this summer. Helped by the launch of its Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch versions this June, the remaster trilogy is No.1 again this week according to sales monitor GfK Chart-Track, making it six weeks in a row at the chart's summit.

There's little change towards the top of the chart for the week ending August 4, with Lego The Incredibles finishing at No.2 for the fourth successive week. There is a different title at No.3 this week, as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe overtakes The Crew 2, pushing Ubisoft's open-world racer down to No.4.

The only new game to enter the chart this week is the PS4 and Switch release of Hello Neighbor, which finishes at No.16.

You can read the full top 10 sales chart below, courtesy of UKIE and Chart-Track. Note this table does not include digital sales data, and so should not be considered representative of all UK game sales.

  1. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  2. Lego The Incredibles
  3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  4. The Crew 2
  5. Grand Theft Auto V
  6. Call of Duty: WWII
  7. God of War
  8. Super Mario Odyssey
  9. Jurassic World: Evolution
  10. Mario Tennis Aces

Its a great game and great remaster. Good for it..

How is it ridiculous? It was number 1 across at least 10 different weeks last year on one platform, with it staying very well in the charts since then on this one platform. On four platforms now, it was bound to do even better........ or maybe just about the same which just shows the sales it had on PS4 alone.

I loved all the original games on the PS1. I got this remaster last year and I gotta say I didn't really enjoy it. The controls are pretty clunky. As according to the developers, they made the game hard on purpose. I can't really justify it, as it takes away from the actual game play, which is supposed to be fun, not laborious.

@boobytrap: I agree. It's just not the same. They should have just let it be. Maybe be original and make a NEW Crash Bandicoot game instead of ruining the old ones.

This headline is funny to me, I really loved crash back when I was a kid, I have no real desire to buy this remaster though. I don tknow if this game still selling well a year later is because the u.k. didn't get them the first time around or they just really prefer good platformers compared to what most of the other games released over that time has been, Mario is on there too so I guess it's possible.

I love the headline! XD

Ridiculous is putting it mildly. I think the more appropriate word for this success would be... wait for... wait for it...

@videogameninja: Seriously, why aren't you writing for GameSpot? You could really show these poor guys a thing or two!

@playstationzone: Lol I didn't buy it when it came out even the first time . Got a lend of it off a cousin almost 2 years later, the PS3 one too. I was alright. 100%ed it like every other GTA I played, never touched the online not a once. Uploaded my progress to Rockstar's Club thing so they could see that. Did the same with Read Dead and went back to GTA IV 100%ing both games but never touching the online once.

I agree with you. 3 months after GTAV came out I said "okay could you stop with the online crap now and start Bully 2 please?" After the 3rd year of asking I gave up.

@playstationzone: Okay, I'll stop buying them. 😟
