Top 10 Movies At The US Box Office This Weekend
Disney's Beauty and the Beast wins again.
Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast was the No. 1 movie in the United States for the second straight weekend, bringing in $88.3 million, according to estimates posted by Entertainment Weekly.
That's more than double what the next highest-grossing movie made this weekend, the much-anticipated new Power Rangers ($40.5 million).
In North America, Beauty and the Beast has now made $316.9 million after just 10 days. That's the fourth-largest 10-day gross in movie history and the fourth-largest second-weekend box office haul ever. Worldwide, Beauty and the Beast has now pulled in more than $690 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
Rounding out the top five movies at the US box office this weekend include Kong: Skull Island ($14.4 million), Life ($12.6 million), and Logan ($10.1 million). Another notable is Chips, the new movie inspired by the classic TV show, which made $7.6 million this weekend.
