Tomb Raider on Xbox One and PS4 is 1080p, sells for $60

If they do one of those trade-in deals where I can trade in my 360 version and get the XBone version for only $10...then I would do that.

i agree that there is obvious diffrence in visuals not like with ac4 but the game is so short and costs 60 ! and still not we are lookfing for from next generation ...i consider only final fantasy demo from its new engine a wtf leap

This is a GotY re-issue of Tomb Raider with all of the DLC included. It it worth $60.00? They have redone the Graphics to improve Laura's hair. It guess that warrants the $60.00 price.

No I won't pay 60 dollars for your "brand-new" Tomb Raider game. I never cared about Lara's hair. Seriously I do hope people do not fall into that marketing trap. But they really are taking risks putting the game for sale at 60$. It's like 14$ right now on the PS Store, and the game already looks beautiful. Pathetic. I bet this is just a little marketing push, soon they'll announce a price drop "60$ was a mistake, we care about the fans, so here's for 40$"

why $60 ??? it's game that was launched long ago....they got their profit already..this is extra money for them....and by that time people will have purchased at least 8 mill ps4 and xboxone units worldwide.... so they probably will get good money .....why not $40 :/

The game was dull. I feel bad for people who will unwittingly pay full price for this. I got it on a Steam sale, and if I had to do it over, I would not buy it.

I was fortunate enough to actually play Tomb Raider for a few hours on a high-end PC this summer and it looked wonderful, and it seems from the description that this new 60 dollar release is exactly what I played almost 6 months ago.

The game is great, don't get me wrong, but it was 20 dollars 6 months ago, and now its 60? I understand that we don't all have high-end PCs and that we still want to play everything at high res at 60+ FPS and all of that, but really, I don't think we would pay 60 dollars for the 'enhanced' version of any game. As good as Tomb Raider may have been, its not good enough to sell at full price two years in a row, in my opinion.

... And in all honesty, as much as I want the developers of the game to feel proud about their work, I hope this won't sell, because this might just start another Collection/HD Remake trend. Next we will see the third re-release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution and probably the fourth revision of Ninja Gaiden from the original Xbox, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Black + Definite Edition.

I have a word problem for Squenix. Grenadeh owns four systems. A game goes on sale of which he owns two copies for two systems, one purchased for $60 and one purchased as part of a collection which was only $15. He has played one copy for 0 seconds, and the other for less than 3 hours. What price does the game have to be for him to buy a third copy? Additionally, solve for how many fucks he gives.

Can't wait to do absolutely no tomb raiding, witness bad level design, battle through moronic enemy AI and frequent QTE's, only to be left thinking, why I didn't just booth up Uncharted 3 multiplayer again. And save myself 60 Euro.

Are they honestly still trying to hock TressFX? It obviously didn't do much of anything in the first 3 releases of the game, what will make it different on slightly less old hardware?

Well, it's good to see "trying to sell ports of year old games for full price" isn't strictly a Wii U thing.

I can see this selling to some people, but you could make a much better argument if it was $30 and not $60.

I don't like how they making such a big deal of this. It's basically the PC version on consoles.

Hard sell for those of us who have the game already. Updates to the online multiplayer to make it more engaging would be nice. Currently, all it does is make me want to play Uncharted 3 online.
