Of course it's cool that the game is converted to Gamecube, didn't expect it to. But because of PS2,XBOX and PC could use DVD and GC not, I have a fear that the game will be smaller on GC. Let's hope not.

Well... I loved the PS2 and PC versions of the game... I think GameCube users (including myself ^^) will be delighted with this version.

For those who ask who would by it for the GC? People who dont have the latest and greatest PC with a top of the line graphics card, and do own a GC, and no other console (afterall the GC is considerably cheaper than the rest)... I'm not a TR fan but i dont see what there is to complain about...

Well, I have a choice to make . . . I could buy it for the new PC that I just made (pretty awesome I might add), or get it for GC. PC or GC . . . dang. I really want to support their decision to make it for the cube, but I wonder which input I would like better. Mouse & board or the GC pad? Grr . . . I'll have to decide when they "review" it. Or at least get an impression of how well it plays . . .

I can't wait to check it out and see if its any good.

Right. Fall. Then they'll complain the game didn't sell well on GC and what not, but how would it sell at all with the game being released 5+ months before on other platforms? They might have as well not bothered at all. Thanks but no Eidos.

The sales figures: Tomb Raider 7 on PS2, PC, Xbox, Xbox 360, PSP = Success. Tomb Raider 7 on Gamecube = Titanic.

I think its a great move except that coz it's being released on all other consoles before the gamecube it probably won't do as well as it could have IMO, but still is great news though, haven't played tomb raider since tomb raider 3 on the PC lol

It's being released months after all the other versions. With the track record of other console-to-Gamecube ports, it won't have any extra features. And by then, the Revolution will most likely be out. Yet game companies wonder why Gamecube versions sell the least generally? They should at least create a whole new Tomb Raider, even better if it were for the Revolution. But didn't Eidos abandon the 'cube years ago after poor sales of Hitman 2 (which this seems to be following in the same footsteps - a game released months after the PS2, Xbox and PC versions, which had already sold enough copies by then for everyone that wants to play the game to own it, to come out on a seperate platform with next-to-no special features AND at a higher price, assuming the other versions got price drops)? This is a really stupid buisness decision.

It's good to see that the GameCube is still getting some support. This also means that TR:Legend will work on the revolution. :)

oh definatle the best thing that ever happen to tomb Raider i hope it sells more then the others so edios has more faith on the gamecube.

Wow the Gamecube is actualy getting third party support.

I think they probably kept all the special effects in but are only viewable on the Revolution when you put it in. And the GC will have an "effect dulled" version. Since they both use the same API's that would be pretty easy to do.

It dosent matter what console its on it's still going to suckl.

I just hope its owners won't despair due to a lack of Italian plumbers, pointy-eared-yet-delayed elves and attractive women in cyborg suits. Oh, and animals that start wars with bug nets, and maintain somewhat conspicuous breeding habits. BUY IT, GUYS! AND GALS!
