The Square Enix Presents video broadcast today included some news and updates on the Tomb Raider series, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021.

The presentation included updates the new Weta statue, crossover news with Fortnite and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and a cookbook. Check out all the big news about Tomb Raider below. The wider show also brought additional news and announcements, like the reveal of Life is Strange: True Colors and updates on Marvel's Avengers, among other things.

Tomb Raider Anime And Movie

The broadcast reminded fans that a new Tomb Raider anime series from Legendary is in the works for Netflix, while the company also told fans to look out for a "talent update" on the Tomb Raider movie sequel. That's all we got, however. There was no footage or concrete details.

Crossovers

Square Enix also confirmed that Tomb Raider crossover events are coming to Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and the mobile game War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. No details were divulged on these crossover campaigns, however, so we'll have to wait some time longer.

A Cookbook

Perhaps the most unexpected reveal was that Square Enix is working on a Tomb Raider cookbook from Insight Editions. This book will allow players to "bring recipes from Lara's global adventures back home." A listing for the book on Barnes & Noble says it will release in October for $30.

The book has more than 40 recipes inspired by the locations that Croft has visited in the games. It also comes with "expert information" on the cultural history of the cities from the games.

The Definitive Trilogy

This announcement was no big surprise, but Square Enix officially announced the Tomb Raider Definitive Trilogy collection that comes with the remastered versions of the latest trilogy, spanning Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The compilation pack is available now on PlayStation and Xbox for $20--the price will go up to $50 in April.

Fortnite Content

Lara Croft recently came to Fortnite in the Chapter 2 Season 6 update; players can unlock multiple different skins based on the iconic gaming character. The partnership with Epic continues this month when Croft Manor releases in Fortnite's creative mode on March 23.
