While Joe and Anthony Russo have exited the Marvel Cinematic Universe, that doesn't mean the Avengers: Endgame directors have stopped working with key actors from the MCU. Following their collaborations with Chris Hemsworth and the late Chadwick Boseman in Extraction and 21 Bridges, the Russo brothers have directed a crime thriller titled Cherry, featuring Spider-Man star Tom Holland. The first clip has now been released.

The movie stars Holland as Cherry, a young man who joins the army and returns from war with PTSD. He succumbs to heavy drug use and turns to bank robbery to fuel his opioid addiction. The clip is presumably from the start of the movie and shows Cherry signing up for the army to get over heartbreak and give himself a "sense of purpose." Check it out below:

Cherry also stars Ciara Bravo (A Teacher), Jack Reynor (Midsommar), Michael Rispoli (The Deuce), and Jeff Wahlberg (Dora and the City of Lost Gold). It hits theaters on February 26 and will be available on Apple TV+ from March 12.

In an interview with Collider last year, Joe Russo praised Holland's performance. "I think he's exceptional in the movie," he said. "I think it's an Oscar-worthy performance out of him. He is shredding himself, physically, and emotionally. This is a movie that spans decades and he is playing a very complicated individual who is a drug addict and suffering from PTSD and is a bank robber and in a failing relationship. It's a very complicated role."
