Tom Holland Has Revealed When The New Spider-Man Shoots, Calling The Script "Insane"

Tom Holland's next Spider-Man movie will begin shooting soon, and he confirms that another important character is returning for this sequel.

Spider-Man was briefly out of the MCU, but now that he's back for another movie, star Tom Holland has revealed where and when it's shooting. In an interview with Inquirer.net, Tom Holland has announced that the new movie will begin shooting in July in Atlanta, Georgia, and he describes the story as "absolutely insane."

While Holland doesn't reveal any of the plot specifics of the film, he says that Zendaya is returning as MJ too. "As to the relationship between Peter and MJ, I’m not too sure what it will be," he told the site.

Asked whether Spider-Man will show up in other upcoming Marvel movies, like The Eternals or Shang-Chi, he says that he's unsure. "I’m not sure as to what they want me to do," Holland said.

The movie will be directed by Jon Watts, who also directed Homecoming and Far From Home, and has been written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

In other Spider-Man movie news, there's a new spin-off coming to the strange little Spider-Man cinematic universe happening outside the MCU, which so far consists of Venom, Venom 2, and Morbius.
