Tom Clancy's Raven Shield delayed

The next Rainbow Six tactical shooter won't be out until 2003.

Comments

This morning, Ubi Soft informed GameSpot that the release date for Tom Clancy's Raven Shield has slipped until next year because of development delays. Originally scheduled for release in late November, Raven Shield is now slated to ship to stores in February 2003. This development delay has also pushed back the launch of two Raven Shield demos that were originally to be made available in mid-September. Because of Raven Shield's new ship date, the game's multiplayer demo will now release in December, and the single-player demo will follow in January.

Raven Shield is currently in development at Red Storm Entertainment, and it is being created with the latest Unreal technology from Epic Games. We'll have more on this upcoming tactical first-person shooter in the coming weeks. In the meantime, be sure to take a look at our previous coverage for more information.
