Crave Entertainment has shipped Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Zero for the Sony PlayStation 2. Compared with the previous games in the series, the PS2 game offers more cars and new rivals, enhanced visuals including a faster frame rate, and special DVD features such as a documentary on the Japanese street racing scene and a trailer for the upcoming film The Fast and The Furious.

"The past two Tokyo Xtreme Racer games for the Dreamcast have been very successful, and we are ecstatic to bring the series to PlayStation 2," said Holly Newman, executive vice president at Crave Entertainment. "Players will have access to a wealth of information about the different cars and their various parts. The depth of TXR: Zero is simply amazing and will provide hours upon hours of gameplay."

The game was developed by Genki.
