As work continues on the PlayStation 2 action game Titanium Angels, GameSpot has several screenshots from the game, as well as an update on its features. Alongside the general action gameplay involving elements of exploration, combat, and stealth, Titanium Angels will also feature a rather extensive cooperative element. Through various portions of the game, the game's lead character, Carmen Blake, will have access to a spiderlike vehicle known as the Titan--and players can choose to ride and use it in battle. Titan is able to perform a variety of moves, including running, jumping, and gliding. The vehicle is also equipped with heavy artillery, which is used to dispose of the wide variety of enemies that oppose Blake.

Titanium Angels is set in the near future, when three different alien factions and the various earth governments are competing against one another to assume control. Blake, who is part of an elite mercenary group known as the Titanium Angels, takes on a routine mission to assassinate a military dictator named Elegia Fury. As her mission continues, Blake follows Fury to an alien planet and finds herself being drawn into a grand conspiracy.

Titanium Angels will feature 16 levels of play, a wide range of weapons, and several multiplayer modes. The game is currently set for a tentative 2002 release date.
