Titanfall on PC will require Origin
Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella confirmed via Twitter that the upcoming shooter Titanfall will not be coming to Steam.
Following a Titanfall event earlier this week, Respawn Entertainment continues to drop bombshell announcements surrounding their upcoming mech-based shooter. This time, Zampella just announced that the game will require Origin to play on PC.
Responding to a question on Twitter, "Does it require Origin?" Zampella wrote: "Yes, it does. We'll miss you."
As an EA-published game, it's not entirely surprising that the game will use EA's online service, but the confirmation will likely come as a big disappointment to Steam users. Earlier today Zampella also revealed Titanfall's minimum PC specs via Twitter.
But what are your thoughts? Does this make a difference in your purchasing or platform decision?
