We've known that Titanfall mobile games were on their way, and now the first has been announced. Titanfall: Frontline is a free strategy card game with versus multiplayer set for release on iOS and Android devices this fall.

Publisher Nexon revealed in a press release that Titanfall: Frontline will feature deck-building with "hundreds of Pilots, Titans, and special ability Burn Cards." Players can customize and upgrade their decks to fit their play style, whether it's a quick, damage-dealing method with fast Pilots and Titans or a strong, defensive technique with the appropriate units, installations, and support personnel.

Developer Particle City says it "worked hand-in-hand with [Titanfall 2 developer] Respawn to weave in card battle strategy and collectibility with the iconic gameplay elements that make Titanfall so unique and that will help evolve the genre."

"From dropping a Titan onto the field of play to turn the tide of battle to using a combination of Parkour and Rodeo Burn Cards to take a Titan down, Titanfall: Frontline is unapologetically intense and utterly Titanfall," added co-founder Larry Pacey.

Titanfall: Frontline is "just the beginning" of the mobile games Nexon plans to publish, general manager Lawrence Koh said. GameSpot will keep you updated as more are announced.

The Titanfall card game is set to release this fall on mobile devices. Titanfall 2 launches October 28 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unlike most EA-published titles, the Titanfall sequel will not include any early playtime or discounts for EA Access members.

Awsome news, love hearhstone and sci-fi mech based card game sound amazing. What a surprise, just old school turn-based Front Mission could be more shocking.

Sounds intetesting. As long as EA doesnt make it impossible to get good cards outside of microtransactions ill probably give this a shot.
