Titanfall 2 Won't Launch Until At Least 2016

I can't wait for Titanfall 2. It's like Call of Duty for dummy's. Since I suck at COD, I love playing Titanfall. I really hope they either get rid of the smart pistol in 2 or make it a side arm. I hate all the little kids that rack up kills with an auto aiming gun.

A fiscal year is the year where it starts. So fiscal year 2017 will start in 2017 not 2016. If what I inferred from Eddie, their fiscal year runs April to March, then their 2017 fiscal is April 2017 to March 2018. April 2016 to March 2017 is their 2016 fiscal year. So the game will not be out until 2017 which is when it should be released anyway. If we are to see it early next year then we should already be seeing some form of gameplay or screen shots other than words and hearsay about release and a game. Yeah don't expect this until 2017.

I think I'll pass. After about 30 matches I was pretty much done with Titanfall. There's really no story, no emotional connection. I do admit that it was most certainly THE BEST multiplayer game I've played, but it just didn't have enough incentive for me to continue on grinding out more matches.

Titanfall is such a great game. One of the few games that actually lived up to its hype. Can't wait for another one.

Titanfall was no less than what Respawn and EA promised it would be. And they did a fantastic job of supporting it over the last year. I'm excited for whatever is next.

That is fine with me I wouldn't want this game to turn into an annual thing like pre 3 dev cycle COD.

Will they have learned from their first titanfail? my guess people wont be so jumpy to throw money at a game they got burned by the first time.

Well there is no point in releasing a new Titanfall game now; we're getting CODfall anyways.

more titans, more burn cards, more skills.

Give me lots of robots and a kickarse campaign where I get to fight those dinosaurs in the background. Screw the pilots. Got enough generic headshot shooters already. Not enough robots.

I hope it's exclusive to the xone and pc again, don't want that garbage finding its way into any unsuspecting Sony consoles

Nobody is interested in buying this game even for $10. I would give a shot if it would be free.

Can't you wait till 2017? I don't want to be reminded of how bad 2014 was so soon.

As much as I love me some Source Engine goodness, I hope they're building a new engine from the ground up so we can see this franchise really take off. The biggest problem with TF1 was that at it's best it felt like unfulfilled potential, lots of great ideas but they never really went anywhere.
Source 2 Titanfall 2...there's an impossibly optimistic thought

Hopefully we see gameplay at E3 this year.

why make a sequel? oh i forgot, we are the prisoners of hope generation of gamers, HOPEFULLY this one will be better, if not, HOPEFULLY it will be patched soon, if not, HOPEFULLY titanfall 3 will be better etc etc etc.

Not really into FPS games anymore but Titanfall was fun on PC while it lasted

I am constantly playing TF and it's one of the few games that I can't wait for the sequal. TF has a great foundation and I can't see how they flesh it out. So much opportunity to improve such an already solid game. P.S. I'm all about multiplayer so I'm okay with lack of campaign
