Titanfall 2 Beta Not Coming to PC, Dates Teased

My most anticipated shooter. Can't wait try to the beta.

BETA is what sold me on the first game in the first place;

Not being able to try this game out is a huge disappointment. Why would I want to play a fast paced online shooter like this on console ?

Btw...Red Dead Redemption is STILL good on Xbone. Maybe one day. But I love how the snooty PC crowd acts. If it was announced it was PC only, you dbags would be bragging and pounding your flabby chests in victory.

Hope this is better than the first. The first was so shallow.

Ps4 all the way and just think a year ago I was going to downgrade my Ps4 to buy a xbone. Wow so glad I didn't have to go that route

The first game was EXCELLENT after a few patches -- perfectly balanced Parkour action versus lumbering Titan destruction... A counter for EVERYTHING on the field, once you learned how all the gear worked together (& against).

If anything, I'm a little concerned that "too much kit" will throw off the core gameplay -- but only time & testing will tell.

RE: HAWKEN posts below -- As a Hawken player (and a player of ALL mech games going back to FASA on a table), it is HILARIOUS to read the idiots below that never played either TF or Hawken (or worse, only one of them), yet feel the urge to post about both. If you haven't spent at least 10 full hours in BOTH, just don't bother posting about "comparisons." Completely unrelated, other than mech themes & MP FPS themes. TF wouldn't work with heat management any more than Hawken would with pilots on the field.

Man I can't wait to play the beta.

I think he meant to say "it bombed on pc so were only releasing the beta for consoles" lol. If anything though, i blame its pc faliure on origin.

I wouldn't bother either, the last game was DOA on PC after a few weeks from what I heard.

Having both PC/XO this doesn't bother me, I beta tested the first Titanfall on XO. I still play it every now and then when I get a temporary ban from Halo 5 for quitting a nerf bullet server. It should only be played on PC/XO as that sony controller is trash for FPS.

So excited for this beta! Finally get to try Titanfall for myself to see what's up. The game looks phenomenal.

He is leaving PC out of the beta, because the PC players abandoned the game so quickly after launch. There is still a decent population on XB1 to get into a match of most game types. (at least when I play , which is on the weekends. ) The months that followed TF's launch there were quite a few PC gamers that commented here how the game was dead, yet it was doing quite well on console. So no surprise here.

I'm sure there is a lot of truth to this too- "Zampella also explained that releasing the Titanfall 2 beta on PC might lead to some story secrets emerging from "wonderfully curious PC players." These users "have proven in the past that they will dig out anything they can, and there's a risk that they could spoil some of our single-player," he said."

The executive added that he understands this is a "big disappointment" for PC players.

Stop putting untrue words in our mouths.

If there is any truth to that then fair play , but probably a load of shit , probably scared of Overwatch and Battlefield 1.

Well according to Zampella the pc version isn't ready yet, which is kind of disturbing considering the game comes out in not to long, he also said its not a beta.

After No Man's Sky debacle, anyone who does this is basically saying "We cannot be arsed to give a decent PC Port, so we will only Beta Test on Consoles." So I am staying the **** away from this.

Smells like another average made shooter if they decided this way.
