The new trailer for Hulu's time-loop action movie Boss Level has been released. The film stars Frank Grillo as a man trapped in a loop that sees him killed every day, and it debuts on Hulu on March 5.

Grillo's character is a former special forces agent who wakes up every morning to find himself under attack by a variety of heavily-armed assassins. This latest trailer shows that, in true Groundhog Day-style, Grillo has repeated the same day so many times that he knows exactly what to do to stay alive, which means some funny moments as he nonchalantly makes coffee while dodging flying bullets. An evil colonel played by Mel Gibson seems to be behind the loop, so Grillo sets about trying to stop him. Check the trailer out below:

Boss Level also stars Naomi Watts (Twin Peaks), Michelle Yeoh (Star Trek Discovery), and Annabelle Wallis (The Mummy), and is directed by Joe Carnahan, who previously helmed The A-Team and Smoking Aces. The film was shot back in 2018 and was picked up by Hulu in November last year for a reported eight-figure sum.

Grillo is best known for his role in the Purge series and for portraying Crossbones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the character was killed off in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, Grillo recently revealed that he will return to the role in the upcoming animated Disney+ Marvel show What If?
