Nikkei Online reported today that Nintendo plans to use the Tilt Cartridge on new games for the Game Boy Advance. Using automobile-airbag sensor technology developed by the Massachusetts-based company Analog Devices, the Tilt Cartridge lets players control characters in a game by moving the Game Boy unit itself. The first game to use the Tilt Cartridge is Kirby's Tilt N' Tumble, which is scheduled for release August 23 in Japan. Meanwhile, the Game Boy Advance is scheduled for release at end of this year in Japan.
