THQ announced on Tuesday that it had signed a deal with Electronic Arts to develop and publish EA's two best-selling titles: Road Rash and Nuclear Strike for the Nintendo 64. The company expects to release both the titles sometime in 1999.

"We are delighted to be expanding our product line to include such high-profile titles as Road Rash and Nuclear Strike," said Brian J. Farrell, president and CEO, THQ. "By furthering our already long-standing, successful relationship with Electronic Arts, THQ will give gamers these sought-after titles on one of the hottest game systems."

"THQ has proven itself as a valuable partner," said Nancy Smith, senior vice president, Electronic Arts. "THQ's ability to reach gamers gives Electronic Arts an opportunity to get our most popular titles out on the Nintendo 64."
