THQ has today announced that it has secured international publishing rights to ATV Offroad Fury 2 for the PlayStation 2. The game, which was developed by THQ's Rainbow Studios but is owned by Sony Computer Entertainment America, has been available in the US since November.

"Due to the overwhelming success of the ATV Offroad Fury property in North America, we are excited to extend the franchise's reach through our relationship with THQ," said Shuhei Yoshida, vice president of product development at Sony Computer Entertainment America. "With this agreement, PlayStation 2 fans in Europe, Australia, and other regions will have the opportunity to experience adrenaline-packed quad racing entertainment in their own living rooms."

ATV Offroad Fury 2 is currently scheduled for release in territories outside North America in September. For more information on ATV Offroad Fury 2, check out our full review of the game.
