The interactive adventures of Jimmy Neutron and The Wild Thornberrys are scheduled to appear in 2001.
THQ and Nickelodeon today announced an expansion of their worldwide publishing partnership. THQ is now the exclusive video game publisher for Nickelodeon's leading children's television and movie properties that target the 6-11 age group. The expanded agreement includes interactive rights to The Wild Thornberrys and Jimmy Neutron, Nickelodeon's holiday 2001 animated motion picture release, and PC publishing rights to Rugrats, SpongeBob, SquarePants, and Rocket Power.
Under the new agreement, THQ and Nickelodeon will release interactive adventures and action games based on Jimmy Neutron and The Wild Thornberrys through 2004 for consoles as well as for the PC. THQ will also publish PC games based on Rugrats, SpongeBob, SquarePants, and Rocket Power. THQ has also acquired rights to several Nickelodeon-branded console and PC games previously released or currently in development by Mattel. These titles include games based on Nickelodeon's Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, and Jimmy Neutron brands.
