The latest Thor movie arrives in November, and some new concept art has been revealed. Thor: Ragnarok will feature an intergalactic gladiatorial contest between the Norse God and the Hulk, and these images give an idea of what to expect. They also provide a first look at Hela, the villainous character played by Cate Blanchett. They were part of a Marvel Phase Three preview on the new Doctor Strange Blu-ray release--check them out below, via comicbookmovie.com:

The gladiatorial aspect is taken from the Planet Hulk series of comic books. In December director Taiki Waititi told Total Film that Sakaar, the planet these battles take place on, would be one of the movie's main locations. "Sakaar was just an insane, far-off futuristic place which was the biggest shift for the film and these characters," he said.

Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, while Mark Ruffalo will play Hulk's alter ego Bruce Banner once more. The movie's impressive cast also includes the likes of Karl Urban and Jeff Goldblum, who will portray immortal games-playing Grandmaster.

In addition, it was recently confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role of Doctor Strange, while Loki actor Tom Hiddleston will also be making a return to the Marvel universe in the movie.

Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taiki Waititi, who featured in an on-set image that was released last month along with the movie's synopsis. It hits theaters on November 3, 2017.
