Does anyone know if Red Dead Redemption and Skyrim are backward compatible?

Avatar image for sladakrobot

I been hearing rumors that the next Xbox GWG will have Ryse: Son of Rome, Lichdom: Battlemage, Red Dead Redemption, and Bioshock Infinite and seeing that Red Dead Redemption up on that list, I say that rumor could be true.

@davillain-: Sadly the rumor was nothing more than a rumor. June GWG games are up. Goat Sim, Crew, Super Meat Boy and X-Com.

@suicidesn0wman: Yep and from the looks of it, the reveal GWG aren't bad at all.

@suicidesn0wman: Super Meat Boy and XCOM are definite wins for xbox gamers!

@davillain-: Bioshock Infinite was free last year so i doubt they would give it again for free unless its a 1 day thing but Red Dead was shown as BC for X1 even though the game was still in testing but at least we know its coming

@davillain-: It does seem like more variety than normal, I wonder if a bunch of these will be used as part of an E3 announcement for a very large expansion to the BC catalog. The GWG rumor seems too good to be true though.

@suicidesn0wman: Red Dead Redemption was the most requested BC list, so you're guess is as good as mines.

@davillain-: That would be great.

Avatar image for davillain-

@mhfon: Let's hope it's true. I just played about those games besides, Lichdom: Battlemage, so I'm interested playing it if this is true.

Hmm...Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, and GTA V - three of the most requested games for BC...

Is this a hint as to what's coming?

Avatar image for tjkraz

@rmokeefe76: Hope so. Nearly all of the games on sale are either BC now, confirmed future BC or very high on the list of requests.

@rmokeefe76: I'm hoping. I'm tempted to buy the bioshock games on sale since thy we supposed to be BC at some point...

Avatar image for rmokeefe76

@ice12tray: I think you're safe with the Bioshock games. They said Bioshock Infinite is coming.
