This Week's Red Dead Online Update: New Legendary Rams

In Red Dead Redemption 2, the naturalist theme continues and new Legendary animals have been added for players on Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. (PS4 is not included in this week's updates.) Three variations of Legendary Rams, the black and white Gabbro Horn Ram, the gray Chalk Horn Ram, and the Rutile Horn Ram with dark red horns, are available to hunt in this week's Red Dead Online update.

Players can find the Gabbro Horn Ram in the dry terrain of Rio Bravo, the Chalk Horn Ram in the Grizzly Mountains, east of the Calumet Ravine, and the Rutile Horn Ram in both Rio Bravo and Cholla Springs. After receiving the mission from Harriet and completing it, players will receive a free Poncho of their choice. Players can also visit Gus' Trapper Store to purchase the Woodcote Poncho and get coats made from the Legendary Rams.

Three new fossil collections--Coastal, Oceanic, and Megafauna--are also available to discover. Talk to Madam Nazar to get a Fossils Map, Pennington Field Shovel, and a Metal Detector. Any archaeologist that discovers one fossil will be rewarded with a Tarot Card, Lost Jewelry, and Arrowhead.

Red Dead Online players who connect their Rockstar Games Social Club account to Prime Gaming will receive Rewards for five free Legendary Animal Pheromones, 6,000 Naturalist XP, a free Wilderness Camp, a free Katata Coat crafted from the Legendary Katata Elk hide.

Players who connect to Prime Gaming before September 21 will also receive a Free Icahi Coat made of the finest boar's hide, five rewards for a free box of Nitro Express Ammunition, and a reward for 50 rounds of Sedative Varmint Cartridges.
