This Week's Free Witcher 3 DLC Revealed

This week's free Witcher 3: Wild Hunt DLC has been revealed.

As announced on developer CD Projekt Red's Facebook page, this DLC comes in the form of the Nilfgaardian Armor Set and the Elite Crossbow Set for main character Geralt.

Both pieces of DLC will be released later this week across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

In all, CD Projekt Red plans to release sixteen free expansions for The Witcher 3. The first two, The Temerian Armor Set (for your horse) and the Beard and Hairstyle Set (for Geralt), were released when the game launched on May 19. The second batch arrived last week.

The remaining ten will be released on a weekly basis throughout June and July.

Looking further ahead, CD Projekt Red plans to release multiple paid expansions for The Witcher 3. The first of these, Hearts of Stone, will launch in October.
