New gameplay footage for EA's upcoming Star Wars Battlefront has emerged--and it looks great.

Take a look at the footage below, which apparently comes from the game's closed alpha on PC. The visuals look especially nice and sharp--be sure to toggle the 1080p/60fps option.

On display here is Battlefront's massive-scale, 20v20 Walker Assault mode on the planet Hoth. The 10-minute video shows off the game's weapon selection menus, lots of third-person shooting, and more.

In other recent news about Battlefront, preorders for the game's $450 Darth Vader-themed PlayStation 4 console opened this week. More information is available here.

Battlefront launches in November for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. A open beta for the game will be held on all platforms starting in early October. The beta will let you try out Walker Assault on Hoth, one Survival mission set on Tatooine, and the new Drop Zone mode.
