Late night TV host and comedian Stephen Colbert continues to bring video games onto his show. The latest example is an incredible "3-Legged Race" video involving Hot Pockets, a relay race, and Super Mario Bros. 3. Really.

Check out the video below to see if Colbert can cook and eat a Hot Pocket before speedrunner and world record-holder Mitch Fowler can finish Super Mario Bros. 3 and faster than the Columbia University men's running team can complete a 4 X 400 relay.

This segment is not totally random. It's meant to promote the Summer Games Done Quick speedrunning event, which raises money for Doctors Without Borders.

The event, which runs through July 10, sees speedrunners zip through games as fast as possible, while viewers can donate to the cause. Some of the upcoming speedruns are for games like Super Meat Boy and Braid. You can see the schedule of events here.

Last year's Summer Games Done Quick event raised $1.2 million for Doctors Without Borders. This year's event, which started on July 3, has already raised around $218,000.

Colbert's The Late Show With Stephen Colbert has hosted video game segments in the past. No Man's Sky designer Sean Murray previously appeared on the show, while PewDiePie also came on.

The Last Show With Stephen Colbert airs on CBS, whose parent company--CBS Corporation--owns GameSpot.
