The PlayStation Now streaming catalog now has "nearly" 500 games in it.

The PlayStation Now streaming library grows today with six PlayStation 3 era Lucasfilm titles, spanning both Star Wars and Indiana Jones games.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, the new additions for today, April 4, include Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, as well as Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and Lego Indiana Jones: The Adventure Continues.

There are now "nearly" 500 games in the PlayStation Now library. Looking ahead, Sony recently announced that it will add PlayStation 4 games to the catalog later this year.

In other news, Sony also today shared a list of some of the most popular PlayStation Now games during March 2017, all of which can be seen below. It wasn't mentioned if this list is ranked by popularity.

  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Mortal Kombat
  • Sonic Adventure
  • Sonic Unleashed
  • WWE 2K15
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2
  • The Last of Us
  • Sonic Generations
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us
  • NBA 2K14

In February, Sony announced that PlayStation Now support on platforms other than PC and PS4 will be shut down in the coming months. It said at the time, "[W]e decided to shift our focus and resources to PS4 and Windows PC to further develop and improve the user experience on these two devices. This move puts us in the best position to grow the service even further."

Do people really care about PS Now?

For the money you spend on it, you could purchase an actual PS3 and games.

Lego needs to be noted as Lego. Otherwise, it's just click-bait. Lego games are the Nintendo console of the gaming world.

Speaking of Indiana Jones, I would kill for a new next gen Indy game like The Emperors Tomb. Uncharted is cool but there's no replacing the original Indian Jones and the music to go with it.

@khanwashere: agreed. I enjoyed Emperor's Tomb much more than Tomb Raider 2013.(which i considered as an overrated cover shooter)

yeah but you still gotta pay for it. i love my ps4 but ps now is not one of the reasons why. i got rid of my 360 and got an xbox one and if i really have to play previous gen "aaa" titles then i usually do it on that.

The force unleashed I & II are some of the best games created related to the Star Wars. I recommend people to try them.

@altairdarius: I have to disagree. Jedi Knight, rogue squadron,X wing and Battlefront franchises are much better.

the second unleashed game was good but it was rushed.the first one was pretty bad in gameplay.

@dorog1995: battlefront was a disapointment for the only fact that COD like games aren't adapt to the franchise. Its hype went down sooner then expected even though was high rated at the start. If they want to keep up with that they need to bring every year a new or increase the dlc maps etc like who cares! Star wars it's about bringing to life iconic characters and telling incredible stories. Battlefront plays the same over and over again and does tell you only your kills, assists, deaths, wins, etc. From the other hand the force unleashed tells you a parallel story and riches your knowledge of the franchise. The Jedi that you are playing its formidable and has sick skills with both laserblades. His connection with Vader and his part in the whole story is worth playing also for the elegant and flexible gameplay. In that you can feel the force rise in you, with battlefront nah :p

@altairdarius: I meant the Original Battlefront games, not the imposter one EA has made.

but you should play Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast, That Game has a much better story, protagonist and Gameplay compare to Force unleashed Games.(in Jedi Knight you also have force powers that weren't in the force unleashed. force Jump,Pull,Heal, sense and etc. it also have a much better lightsaber mechanics) you can play the PC version of it which can easily be played on every PCs.

I really liked Unleashed 2 much more than 1 but unfortunately it was rushed and that's why i don't consider it as a great SW game.

@dorog1995: Agreed on Jedi Knight, Xwing, and Rogue Squadron. I even like Shadows of the Empire, and lets not forget Kotor, also Empire at War.

However, I always found Battlefront to be over-rated.

@Lach0121: I heard that some people say : "only the first level of Shadows of the Empire was good."but i still haven't played that one.

unfortunately i didn't enjoy Kotor and EAW that much.

Battlefront is only enjoyable only if you enjoy multiplayer only games.(i got bored from Battlefront 2 after 110 hours online play)

Microsoft is going to slaughter Sony with their gamepass program. It'll be cheaper (50% cheaper...), and the games will be played on the console, not the cloud.

@ltjohnnyrico: They could easily implement the option to actually download the games for PS now as an extra option.

@ltjohnnyrico: True. I'd say that it needs to die but, let's face it, it's already dead. I don't know anyone that likes or uses PS Now other than the initial free one month they allow us.

Maybe it should be included in the tiered PS Plus sunscription that gamers want.
