There Are Already Some Really Good Xbox One S Deals

There are solid offers available whether you want the Halo or Madden 17 bundle.

The Xbox One S launched earlier this month, with a couple of new bundles releasing today. We recommended that you wait for those instead of opting for the launch model based on their lower prices and free games, and some deals are making the new bundles even more attractive.

As shared on Twitter by user Wario64, there are three different deals of note right now. The first comes from Newegg, which is selling the 500 GB Halo Collection bundle (which comes with an Xbox One S, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Halo 5: Guardians) with an extra controller and a copy of Assassin's Creed Syndicate for $330. The bundle on its own costs $300, so you're paying $30 more for a free game (that typically goes for about $20) and an extra controller--which is the new, Bluetooth-equipped model that the Xbox One S comes with.

Newegg is also throwing in the same bonuses--Syndicate and a second Xbox One S controller--with the 1 TB Madden NFL 17 system bundle for $380. Again, that's only $30 more than the standard, $350 price of the bundle on its own.

Finally, over on eBay, a highly rated seller is offering the 1 TB Madden bundle for the usual price of $350, but it's throwing in a $50 eBay gift card with it.

The two bundles featured in these deals launch today alongside one other option; that's a 1 TB version of the Halo Collection bundle.

The Xbox One S features HDR and 4K support, and it provides a small performance boost in some games. You can read more about the system in our review.
