The Wolf Among Us Episode 2 is finally arriving in February
Telltale Games says it does not expect the wait for subsequent chapters to be as long.
Telltale Games has announced that the long-awaited second chapter of its episodic series The Wolf Among Us will be released in the first week of February. Finally!
"We are very concerned about the long delay for this episode," said Telltale's Kevin Bruner on the company forums, "but this is one of those occasions where several things conspired against us (not to mention the additional delays due to the holidays). I won't dive into the details, but it’s been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again as we go forward with the rest of the season."
The first episode of The Wolf Among Us, which is based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series, was released back in October 2013. The total season will be five chapters, with Telltale originally saying that the whole series will be released by the end of summer 2014.
Telltale added it is currently coordinating the release of The Wolf Among Us episode 2 with Sony, Microsoft, Valve, and Apple.
GameSpot's Kevin VanOrd awarded the first chapter of the series a score of 8.0 last year.
