The Witcher Season 2 also stars Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Eamon Farren as Cahir, and Joey Batey as Jaskier. It's based on the book series by Andrzej Sapkowski, which in turn inspired the popular video game series. The showrunner for Season 2 is Lauren Schmidt Hissrich once more.

WitcherCon takes place today, July 9. It features interviews with the cast of the show, including Cavill, Chalotra, and Allan, plus Schmidt Hissrich and the developers of the game series. This week it was announced that Star Trek Discovery's Michelle Yeoh and Giri/Haji star Sophia Brown had joined the cast. The Witcher: Blood Origin starts production later this year.
