Those who own The Witcher 2 on PC can download a new mod that adds an epilogue to the games and centers around the wedding between Geralt of Rivia and Yennefer of Vengerberg.

Fans of the franchise know the White Wolf and Horsewoman of War, while bound together by a spell, have genuine feelings for each other. This is exemplified in both The Witcher 3 and Netflix's The Witcher series. However, Farewell of the White Wolf, a mod created by a small team of The Witcher fans, will finally recount the romance between the two characters.

The mod takes place over the course of three days, where players will see "the returns of Geralt's closest friends, unexpected guests, interesting stories and... more than just one romance." It was developed as a full conversion of The Witcher 2 engine and weighs in at approximately 6 GB. Farewell of the White Wolf is available to download now on Nexus Mods.

Check out the announcement trailer and some screenshots below.

Mod uploader Rustine notes a known issue with The Witcher 2, particularly around the game's tendency to crash when having multiple save files. It's recommended to not only download the hotfix update for Farewell of the White Wolf, which is found under the Files tab on Nexus Mods, but also clean the game saves folder located in Documents under The Witcher 2 on Steam.

In other CD Projekt Red news, the Polish studio's upcoming action-RPG launches on November 19 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. CDPR recently confirmed that Keanu Reeve's motorcycle will appear in the game.
