The Witch and the Hundred Cavalrymen marches onward this June

More details of Nippon Ichi's upcoming RPG have been unveiled.

Last year, Nippon Ichi showed off glimpses of iyd latest project, called The Witch and the Hundred Cavalrymen (or Majo to Hyakkihei), which is its first foray into action role-playing game territory. The company recently announced that the game will be out on June 28 in Japan this year, according to a recent article in Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation.

The recent article also revealed further details about the game. Players can select up to 10 different weapon types for their playable undead cavalryman. Gamers can also take a break from the main dungeon-crawling action by heading down to a gambling area where they can play an assortment of minigames to earn in-game currency or new equipment.

The Witch and the Hundred Cavalrymen is about a witch named Metallica who plans to overthrow her forest witch rival by using a sole undead cavalryman that can be accompanied by 99 other soldiers as temporary helpers.
