On November 22, GameSpot published the latest in its line of exclusive Behind the Game features, The Final Hours of Metal Gear Solid 2. The story chronicled the development of this highly anticipated PlayStation 2 game, from its inception three years ago to its final hours on the evening of September 28, 2001. At the end of the story, we gave readers the chance to participate in a multiple-choice trivia contest based on the story. The readers who answered all 10 questions correctly became eligible to win one of five US copies of Metal Gear Solid 2 autographed by designer Hideo Kojima or one of three complete sets of Metal Gear Solid 2 action figures from McFarlane Toys, one of which is signed by Todd McFarlane himself. Of those contestants, we've randomly selected the following eight winners:

Signed copies of MGS2
Stanley Rivera, from Raeford, N.C., USA
John Maiorana, from Byron, Calif., USA
Brad Didyk, from Winnipeg, Canada
Waleed Farwana, from Kalamazoo, Mich., USA
Claudette Schafer, from Medicine Hat, Canada

Complete set of action figures, signed by McFarlane
Rob Jowaisas, from Richmond, Va., USA

Complete set of action figures
Alex Voutsis, from Brisbane, Australia
Chris Sumsion, from Bountiful, Utah, USA

Congratulations to all these winners. GameSpot will be contacting them individually to inform them of their forthcoming prizes. Of course, even though the contest is now officially closed, you can still read The Final Hours of Metal Gear Solid 2 to learn the details behind the development of one of this year's most anticipated PlayStation 2 games.
