The S.S.P.I.D.E.R.'s Web

Virtual detectives needed to infiltrate virtual Internet and stop techno-terrorists.

As if we didn't waste enough of our time in real cyberspace, you can now save a virtual world via a virtual Internet in a 1920s "Mickey Spilane meets the 21st century" techno-thriller PC game.

Based on the adventure game books by J.H. Brennan, your goal as an agent of the S.S.P.I.D.E.R. (Secret Service Planned Internet Direct E-mail Response) detective squad is to command robots, conduct electronic surveillance, and collect evidence to end the widespread techno-terrorist plot to overtake the world.

Fijitsu has acquired the publishing rights to this HTML- and email-based Internet detective game, and will codevelop the action/strategy, role-playing mystery game with Dublin-based PixelMagic. Expect the terrorism to begin in the first quarter or 1998.
