Aspyr Media has announced that it will release a Macintosh version of The Sims: Vacation, Electronic Arts' popular virtual-life game expansion. The expansion is currently in beta testing at Westlake Interactive, but no official release date has been announced.

The Sims: Vacation was created by Maxis, the studio that created The Sims, and released in March for the PC. The expansion pack adds a number of new features to EA's best-selling virtual-life game The Sims. Players can take their sims on a trip to three different locations--a snowy alpine area, a beach resort, and a forest campground--and watch them participate in a number of new activities, such as beach volleyball, snowboarding, fishing, and hunting for hidden treasure.
