The Sims: Unleashed reclaims the top of the PC sales chart

The latest expansion for The Sims is back on top of the PC sales chart after losing out to EverQuest: The Planes of Power last week.

Electronic Arts' The Sims: Unleashed expansion pack has reclaimed the top spot on the NPD PC sales chart from Sony Online's EverQuest: The Planes of Power expansion pack, which is currently residing at number two. The big movers in the top 10 this week are Infogrames' Backyard Hockey, which has jumped four places up to number six, and Unreal Tournament 2003, which is clinging on to the 10th position after slipping down from number five last week.

This week's new entries were Age of Mythology at number five, Combat Flight Simulator 3 at number seven, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring at number nine. The three games that fell out of the top 10 as a result were The Sims: Vacation, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.
