The Sims Riding High into the Shopping Season

Electronic Arts swept the top three spots in the PC Data list of top-selling games for the month of October. The Sims: Livin' Large took first place once again, followed by The Sims and SimTheme Park, also produced by EA. Hasbro's RollerCoaster Tycoon came in fourth, and Microsoft's Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion took fifth place. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 managed to grab ninth place, despite being released in late October. Diablo II grabbed first place in the first week of November, knocking The Sims and Red Alert 2 down to second and third places, respectively.
