The Sims Back on Top

After briefly dropping out of the top spot, Electronic Arts' virtual life game The Sims is back in first place in the latest PC Data top-selling games chart for the week of November 19-25. Roller Coaster Tycoon from Hasbro Interactive dropped from first to second place, and The Sims: Livin' Large expansion pack rose to third place from fifth place a week before. Westwood's Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 held on to fourth place, while Barbie Pet Rescue dropped from second place in last week's figures to fifth place this week.

Three value-priced games were boosted into the top ten as the holiday shopping season got off to a start. Disney's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 2nd Edition, Electronic Arts' SimCity 3000, and Microsoft's Flight Simulator Classic are all priced below US$20, and they took seventh, eighth, and ninth place, respectively.
