The Simpsons DLC for Minecraft is now available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Announced in January, The Simpsons Skin Pack includes block versions of the Simpsons family--Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie--as well as 19 other characters from Springfield Elementary School.

Even Üter made the cut.

The full list of Simpsons characters available through the $3 pack is below. This expansion is specifically focused on the Simpsons family itself and Springfield Elementary School characters, suggesting further character skin packs could come later.

Kent Brockman? Frank Grimes? Hans Moleman? C. Montgomery Burns? They'd all be great.

The Simpsons content for Minecraft has been announced only for Xbox platforms, but Microsoft said in a statement that PlayStation owners should "stay tuned" for news. Microsoft, of course, acquired the Minecraft series in September, so it makes sense that Xbox fans would get preferential treatment.

The Simpsons Skin Pack Includes:

  • Homer Simpson
  • Marge Simpson
  • Bart Simpson
  • Lisa Simpson
  • Maggie Simpson
  • Principal Seymour Skinner
  • Mrs. Edna Krabappel
  • Groundskeeper Willie
  • Otto Mann
  • Milhouse Van Houten
  • Nelson Muntz
  • Jimbo Jones
  • Ralph Wiggum
  • Martin Prince
  • Kearney
  • Dolph
  • Wendell
  • Database
  • Üter
  • Janey Powell
  • Superintendent Gary Chalmers
  • Mr. Dewey Largo
  • Sherri
  • Terri

How does Uter make the cut, but Mr. Burns doesn't?

So. Skins that are free on PC are $3 on console...

<< LINK REMOVED >> Its the console tax. If they are dumb enough to pay $50 to go online, when that too is free on PC, why wouldn't they pay for this?

If this makes it to paper weight 4 or 3 MS will no doubt charge sony a higher cut to further bleed them.

It doesn't include Moe, Barney, Lenny or Carl…

Guess someone doesn't want to associate the Minecraft brand with alcoholism

Sorry, everyone with a PS4, Vita, PS3 and PC. Microsoft owns Minecraft and they don't give a s*** about your consoles and for some reason the PC.

<< LINK REMOVED >> Mojang never released any of the purchasable skins/texture mods prior to Microsoft's purchase of the company, so it's really nothing new for us.

<< LINK REMOVED >> Uh PC doesn't matter, skins are 100% free on PC, and more often than not, better than any of the Xbox ones.

<< LINK REMOVED >> if they gave it to Sony they would just lose the files anyways
