With The Batman hitting theaters in exactly one month, the caped crusdaer's next film is excitingly close. To further stoke anticipation, WaterTower Music, Warner Bros.' in-house music label, has released the film's official theme for The Riddler. You can listen to it below.

This new track follows a recent release of The Batman's theme, and as eagle-eared fans have already noticed, elements of the soundtrack have already been used in previous trailers. As director Matt Reeves has noted, composer Michael Giacchino's themes were written long before filming had even begun, and the first time that Reeves listened to it was right before his meeting with Robert Pattinson for a screen test.

Similar to The Batman's theme, Riddler's is intriguingly minimalist. Riddler's theme is dark, tragic, haunting, and mysterious--and as some have pointed out--has a few subtle nods to Batman: The Animated Series. For those cranking your volume knobs as soon as you start listening, be forewarned that at the 2:06 mark there is an unexpected and menacing leap in loudness.

The Batman, whose runtime is two hours and 47 minutes, stars Pattinson as the Batman and Bruce Wayne, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot. The Batman will also spawn two spin-offs, including one that will feature Farrell reprising his role as The Penguin. Reeves is also developing an HBO Max series that will focus on the Gotham City Police Department.

The Batman hits theaters on March 4.
